Replacing existing pond filter

Hi,

We would like to change our existing laguna pond filter for a new model with uv light, is there anyway we can do this without harming the fish?

If your replacing the only filter you have, then you are removing all the bacteria. The best thing to do if possible is buy your new filter and run them both for a while.
if thats not an option then you'll want to place a filter pad from the old into the new so the bacteria transfers to the new filter.
lastly squeeze an old filter at the intake to the new filter.
