Matt,
I don't know if your have a fish hatchery , pod store near you? I've found mine price matches what I find on line, but gives me the comfit of purchasing it locally, for any problems. I don't know anything about the filter you provided the link to, but some of the reviews weren't positive. If I buy another pressurized filter, I'll probably buy a Pond Master, as they're stocked at my fish hatchery .

Tula,

There is a nice store about 30 mins from me, I have gotten my aquarium fish there before, locally family owned operation so that is nice to support. I do not know however if they do anything with Ponds so I will have to find out. I have been looking online at some DIY filters, some see pretty nice, others are hack jobs.

You could build a good filter for a way less than 325 Bucks and it would work

You can get a submersible pump and just put it on the bottom of your pond and it will act like a main drain use flex hose so you can pull it up to clean it ( make sure the pump is solid handling
