Hi everybody!
Having always loved the mountains and streams, I was sorely missing water after moving to the high desert.
Last weekend my boyfriend found a trick little waterfall/pond setup at a yard sale and brought it home. Then the fun began! Did a little shopping for a couple of goodies and 2 fishies, then today went down to our local irrigation ditch for some native weeds and reeds to decorate with.
It's amazing how the sound of trickling water can cool ya down even when it's 105 in the shade!
For years I've been carting around a mid size pond liner and never did anything with it. Welllllll, the "honey-do" list just got longer. Time to play with THAT!
Being new to doing our own pond, I am SOOO looking forward to reading what all you experts have to say!
