I live in southwest Connecticut. Every Winter I disconnect the hoses from my pressurized filter and clean it and bring it in. My question is, has anyone tried running a pressurized filter through the Winter? The filter canister itself is mostly buried in the ground. I know moving water takes much longer to freeze, but at some point it will, I just don't know how cold. The outlet from the filter is split to supply my small waterfall and the rest directly into the pond. Anyone do or try this at any point in New England or similar weather conditions? Thanks.
