Show Me Your Deck Beside Your Pond

I reworked mine this winter,and lowered part of the deck

Is that a purple Marten house I see over to the right and just below the limbs in the pix? I wis to build some marten houses and bat houses for my cabin in the future. Downloaded a lot of plans and info, but haven't got around to construction yet.

Yeah, this is an awesome thread! The deck we are planning is going to be entrusted to a contractor, but I really wanted to have some things to show him to give him an idea of ways to incorporate pond-viewing. My pond ended up being raised, but still, there's tremendous possibility.

Anybody else want to toss their deck into the ring?
