I am lucky I have lots of trees but the wind blows up my hill and blows the leaves all back to the woods

I'm hoping once I get my flower garden planted around the pond it will help catch a lot of the leaves that blow across the lawn.

great deal Angela, mine came out to just under $2000 and that includes getting a free filter, pump, rocks, fish and plants. Most of the cost was from the concrete and landscaping blocks, gravel, new liner, extra pump and netting. I thought I was building it on the cheap, but after adding up my HD receipts the totals kept on growing. Good thing my wife doesn't monitor my HD spending as I told her I'd keep it under 1K.

Mine is inside an enclosed patio area.
The area has a roof and walls made of trellis. With a 4x4 frame.

I suppose it comes down to your particular climate, predators and of course how much room and money you are willing to put aside.
Having a spouse that is at least somewhat enthusiastic would also help.

We saw these at a local koi farm thus morning.
I'm planting the seeds that we'll need a bigger pond in the near future.
