Slug

hi I found a slug in my pond on the bottom of my ball rushes and its got a small oval shell and the whole slug is hard does anyone no what it is please

First of all, slugs do not have shells. Secondly, there is only one type of freshwater slug--Acochlidium.

Not sure what you have found.

Oh ok thanks but that doesn't look like the one I found

Your area should have a Wildlife and Game commission (we have them here in the states anyhow) with some degreed biologists on their staff or at least some very experienced local wildlife experts. I'd send them the picture and see what they think. Worth a try.
