Small submersible pump

I need to replace my small submersible pump but not sure which one to buy. My current pump is 60 watts and consumes very little power. This one https://tinyurl.com/ybp9ssd8 specifies 160 GPH 8W. What does that mean? Help appreciated.

This pump is probably much less powerful than your current one. 60 watts vs 8 watts is a huge difference. For your 800 gallon pond I would recommend at least an 800 gph pump, but probably even more.

I like the Laguna pond pumps as they are good on not using a ton of power and last a long time.
