the adders very rarely attack, only if cornered, usually they will try to hide or escape, i think it is believed they have claimed the lives of 10 people in the last 100 years or so, they are a very attractive snake with big black diamonds on there back, they are very much protected here also

Neat, glad they are protected, those 10 people were probably messing with them.
I have stepped on rattlers, so far no bites, but the snake was as surprised as I was, lol
