O.K... HERES BEGINS A CHRONICLE OF THIS YEARS SPAWN..
heres the fry hatchery pond...


heres a spawn mop showing some egg count....

this is one of 21 spawn mops... lets see what the hatch count will be. no telling how many are not fertilized or will succome to fungus...yes the fry pond has been treated with 1/2 dose anti fungal (KORDONS)...
there are a ton more eggs in the pond. but i think the ones i've gathered will be a significant enough number.

no they are not here yet... i have some infusoriums going and spurilina tea ready tho. went to 4 local pet shops and no one had any. the one that usually does was out!

brine shrimp arrived yesterday... walked out to the pond this a.m and the guys are at it a gain... actually, yesterday and today. oh well...no more mops! lol
should have a batch of B.S ready to feed this afternoon. tried to take some pics and or video in the fry pond yesterday. but man i need to invest in a decent camera. maybe i'll try again today if the sun should appear...storms right now. was cloudy and dreary all day yesterday. and they are very tiny right now.

Auto focus will focus on the aquarium wall and the aquarium contents will be blurry. Same thing with a top picture it focuses on the water surface. A camera with a manual focus ability works best.

Is it just the lighting, or are they really showing oranges and whites already? All of my are clear, but they look more black when you look down on them from the top. My goldfish have mostly been black for the first year, so I'm curious if koi start showing their colors earlier?
