Water fall Pump Setup Feedback Requested

I'm new to my pond (see picture). I have a working sub-surface aerator working, and also looking to add a pump for water flow into a small waterfall.

400 gph is little more than a trickle .
There's a 1500 gph for 300 plus at solar company the name escapes me at the moment it does not have a battery back up that would be bare bones flow for any kind of a waterfall
