Water low level pump shut off device--seeking

Hi,

I am seeking a device that will shut off my return pump electrically (pump placed sorta near the pond bottom) when the water level drops to a certain level. I had a fitting failure last eve and could have disastrous if i hadn't stopped by the pond to check on the fish. Water level dropped quite a bit, for which it doesn't take long for a 2500 gal pond to empty when a fitting fails. I would prefer an electronic sensor as compared to a float type switch. Wifi interface would be even better so i could see the status on my phone. I've searched the forums and google, but not sure if i found a reliable one that doesn't cost a ridiculous amount.

I went cheap and just placed the pump on top of some stones to elevate it off the bottom. If something goes haywire I'll still have a foot of water left...

your asking about a float switch, the float can be set at any level you want but it will need to be secure . when the water drops it will shut off a double gang a plug that you plug the pump into
