Water Poppy - Hydrocleys nymphoides - tropical/subtropical - is appearing in the wild in Florida & Texas. I have it growing in a whiskey barrel water feature and in a shaded pond. It grows fast! More so in full sun I suspect. Creates roots at each joint on the stem. Probably needs to be protected from hard freezes. Tries to attach roots into or onto anything it can grab hold of.
