Hi guys,

I have these weird barnacle type things in my filtration system.

It has a hard shell, but it doesn't move at all. It blocks all my pipes in my filtration system.

There is fish and plants in the pond.

Can anybody identify this for me?

Kind Regards

No idea. Are they alive, or could they be calcified remains of something else? Tell us more information about your pond set-up and where you live.

I don't know what they are either, but I've got them too. Mine don't block pipes, but I find them on the inside walls of my pressurized filter. I figured they were eggs of some kind?

Fish inside :
3 x koi
3 x veil tail goldfish
2 X normal goldfish

Plants inside :
Water Lillies
Water iris

Two pumps
1 x pumps through to filtration system
2 x pump to a water feature that drips back into the dam.

The water is very clear, en clean. PH balance 7.6. No problem with too much algae.

The Creatures itself is stationary. They don't move at all, but they do have hard shells. I noticed that they latch on to the sides. The most prominent latching points is where there's a lot of water flow - outlets of pumps, and inside the pipes.

I live in South Africa. Warm temperatures, between 25C and 35C.

Interesting, and guessing it's something specific to your part of the world. I'll see what I can Google, but prob won't find anything different from what you've found.
