My well water ph is 7.0 and the pond is 8.5-9.0. Kh 110. Wondering what dives the ph up. Could it be the local rocks and pea gravel in the bog?In BC the rocks a hard and don't crumble, have no concrete in the pond. I have not tried to adjust it as the fish are doing well but would be nice if it was a bit lower. The water to the pond does not go through the water softener, only a fine filter that supplies the house.
