Power went out and a lot of our utility people were sent down south to help .Out from 7 pm to 12 pm and didn't mind .I made hubby soup and grilled cheese on the side burners of the grill and then we had a nice cup of hot tea .Wind and rain bad all night and still getting 40mph of wind but at least the sun is out .Worried about my friends from Ford in Florida and south and north Carolina .Have not heard from them and my aunt in Florida isOK .So hoping the rest are also .Duracell truck charged my aunts cell phone for her and she called .Bother in Norfolk OK but he now has fish in his swimming pool ,It flooded and he said there are about 10 or 12 in there

Last night I was out sitting in cost warm greenhouse. The snow keeps greenhouse so much warmer. Welcome to winter!

Need to make a tent cover over top two ponds this year. Got a plan in my head and want to work on it as soon as the weather warms back up later this week. I am thinking of a cold frame greenhouse cover that can fold away easy for storage. Just having a simple cold frame over the middle pond last year seemed to hold in heat much better...

Storm brewing tonight then hits big on Friday. How bad it gets depends on if it lands at the tip of Vancouver Island tonight. If it heads more north than that then we are ok, if it doesn't we may end up w/a lot of water and wind. Next storm on Sunday is some kind of leftover thing from some typhoon near Japan called Pabuk. A lot of maybe's so maybe we will come out of this easy. If not see you later when we get our internet back someday
