ahhh gator .YIKES Well one of the boxes he said was a pump was a laguna aerator instead and it works I got to the bottom of the preformed pond finally .It was full of stuff that was brand new and there was a small box that had air stones in it ,the bigger ones.A couple of rolls of air line tubing and some of the back flow things .Darn had to happen after I bought all the new stuff for my pond back in 2014.Sorry to hear jw you need to go to a sunny warm place for awhile .

Funny I tried to call up Comcast to pay my bill through the robot lady. Did fine till she asked me a question and I could not answer except for a slight whispery Darth Vader voice if that. She kept on suggesting different things that she thought I wanted. Finally figured out that I could use the #1 button for yes and the #2 button for no. Sheesh I was so frustrated I could spit, glad that's over!

Not going to keep much of the stuff and the extra money from the stuff will help fund another project at my house .I need a bigger house Mitch but less property or my son needs to move out with his business ;) .Yesterday 7 am 47 degrees today 26 degrees and 60 yesterday and only 59 degrees today but good news rain is coming and may help with the fires and supposed to get back up to the 70's again.Got a couple of pics from the couple from the flea market of other stuff they have .I have already resold a couple of things after I contacted people on my list .Gas was down to 1.68 yesterday but gas in NC was 2.07 yet a gallon .No wonder people come here to get gas .The box of stuff is still under the carport and the planters I put in the preformed pond a dragged it down to the basement .Darn baby possum here has been a pain in the butt .

We have 1800 sq ft here and I think I would be happier with 900 sq ft and a few special purpose out buildings.
I always like more land and let it go natural with no maintenance.

We have hardly any snow here. I hope we have a white Christmas.

My first house was small and ok for 1 but not a family .This house I use every inch of it which amazes me .I guess if it was 2 story it would be different but 1 story it gets used .There is only 1 2 story house on my road and that is Dallas's house and him and his wife never use the upstairs .They are close to my age and only the 2 of them and master is on the first floor .His wife wants to sell and buy a 1 story but they would never get what they paid for the house .2 acres 1880 sq. ft. and they paid 179 thousand and I paid only 89 thousand for 3 acres and 2440 sq. ft.Bigger differences in the build of my home verses there's also . mine 2x6 studs there's 2x4 studs and they have had to do lots of repairs because the builder did a poor job .Thing is to far from towns or work for most .When they put in the business's on Berry Hill road that may change .

Yeah, we don't have any kids so it's easy to go small.
Ideally, one building to live, sleep and cook in, one building for vehicles, tractors and storage, one building for wood working.
Also, a root cellar dug into the earth.

Who could ask for anything more?:)

I have a carport no use for a garage here ,but have shed for lawnmowers .But we don't get your winters .Don't mind snow if it comes and goes in one day and melts fast .I do my woodworking in the basement or under the front porch .I would love a greenhouse to grow veggies in the winter and in the summer with shade stuff over it to keep it cooler to not cook the veggies before they grow .Best thing about here is it is cheap to live .Being retired that counts .
