I heard about that storm yesterday on my local radio weather yesterday, Addy. They were saying it was going to be a bad one because of the ice. Glad you didn't get that part at least!
Weather.com teased me for the last 2 days, saying sunshine, but it didn't appear until this morning. Woohoo, going up to 48 today. Heavy frost this morning here in south central Illinois. Ponds have had pretty much no ice for over a week, which is WONDERFUL!
Going to try to go for a ride on my mule this afternoon. Will only be able to ride on the roads, but that's ok. Better than nothing!

I rained really heavy last night and it is 36 degrees and headed to 47 degrees .It was really foggy before sun came up and burned it off

I think tomorrow it's supposed to rain here, 70% chance they are saying now. It keeps changing daily, so who knows what will REALLY happen tomorrow! lol

Raining here but we are going to get a blast of heat coming our way w/ drying out and sunshine starting this afternoon and through Monday.
Might get up to 60f and that's warm for January here

Weather here unbelievably nice considering it is still January! Temperature to go onto the 50's for next three days!!!

Been busy cleaning fish tanks and working. So much to do, spring is on the way soon!

Just after 9am and already 53f. This is gonna be good
Gonna stick my new Laguna pump into the pond tomorrow during this heat wave to see how it works.

You may have more power than you need and you may have to put a splitter on it .Right now I am using a 1 1/2 inch hose on the 2900 gph pump and it still pulses so may even need a bigger hose .The hose pulses with the force of the water .I have the 2 spitters in the water fall and the rest goes to the 60 gallon stock tank filter .I could not let all that water go into the filter it was way to much .I would have to go to the one hundred gallon one

I may but we shall see. Wonder if it will suck up everything like a giant magnet. Fish, plants everything all smacked up against the pre-filter cage

It rained last night and today we have a high of 47. Looks like we will have temps in the 40's the next four to five days. We've had some heavy winds this winter so there's pine needles all over the snow thats on my pond. Went out today and scooped off what pine needles that I could. Saw some of my fish today!

don't really know jw since I don't have any plants in my pond .Better watch those pine needles mt as they may raise ph and they also get sucked into a pump
