Addy- How much of this white crap did you end up getting? With temps for tomorrow I won't be going out tomorrow. Glad to have the cameras set up to keep an eye on things. Fish seem to be doing better so I'm hoping my underwater camera will be here soon!

Hubby shoveled today but it was coming down so fast you can't tell. He's working the next 5 days so it better warm up. I'm done shoveling unless I have to get back down to the ponds.

I don't shovel, that would take forever, I use my tractor to push and bucket the snow off the drive. Even using the tractor it takes an hour plus, usually don't time myself. It is sort of fun, crisp cold air, pretty snow. Neither of us have to go anywhere/

The ponds and bees we just tromp through the snow to get there. We do shovel off a small patch of grass for the little one to have a pee poo place.

I sure hope those beautiful bug eating plants of yours survive that horrid weather!

Well if they are well covered in snow that should help. Those are my most favorite plants, unfortunately I can't seen to grow them...
When we were hitting the minus 6 and consistent below normal cold weather we had no snow cover. I am hoping they will be ok, I think they will. They are rated for even lower zones than we are.

We are zero right now. Once it warms a little I will go out and bucket off the drive way. The sun will be out, once I get a lot of the snow off it will melt the drive. The yard has a while to go. But are temps are heading up up up lol at least to high 40's in the next week.

You can see the deer tracks where they have come up and munched on my plants. I got a out in the yard measurement of 10 inches.

The weather guys are saying they have never seen a storm like this, the moisture coming from the pacific all the way across the country at the same time, then it started to draw moisture from the gulf. And with Colleens cold air coming down here it turned to snow.

The moon was full last night, with the snow it was like daylight

btw they should grow in your green house, I had them growing in the house when I first got them.

You have to feed them if you are bugless. Or in the summer stick them outside to get those pesty mosquitoes

If I could ship you plants I would send some starters to you to try the out.

I see you've been busy out there moving snow w/your tractor @addy1 . I just tuned in to your camera's and piles of the white stuff in your driveway. No snow or rain here. Missy looks cute in her fluffy new furry coat.
Heading up to 60+ today
