What is your weather like ... today

I was actually sweating in my car while driving today. What a change from shivering just a day or two ago. The snow is melting FAST out there... the driveway is just about clear. And of course the line for the car wash is so backed up they closed one of the entrances as it was causing traffic backups on the street.

Spring must be almost here now for sure! Right now we're are almost 50 Fahrenheit and I swear a good 60 degrees in sun by ponds and no wind! !

40 here but with a constant wind, the wind chill is still at the freezing mark.
Pond ice thickness is 14 inches.

Worked another hard long day at work. Weather was so extra beautiful and Rio had big long run with big puppies at park.

Yeah! 43 this am, already up to 47......snow melting, slowly but melting. Ponds still frozen up hard, deer walking on the small ponds while they eat up my plants, it is called free deer grooming.

50 yesterday and more of that all week. Even upper 60s by mid week. Pond is melting.

67 again today and more than likely may hit 70 degrees or more .Supposed to be like that all week .I finished the repairing the roof .They should seal down rel good with the heat .Rebuilt the wishing well that got destroyed with the wind .Started to bring the stuff out of the basement that I built .I change oil and gas filters in lawn mowers and sharpen blades and greased them .All the stuff coming out of the basement is making space for me to move around down there

Another 60+ day ahead for us North Westerners.

It's melting! 50 here now and most of driveway and yard cleared. Fired up the woodstove this morning for what I hope will be the last time till fall. One I get the fish taken care of it will be time to finish tearing down the rest of the canopy on the deck that got destroyed by wind and put up the new one. Also need to break out my mini greenhouses and get started planting.

coffee break .Got the new table bench up onto the front porch by myself .Wheelbarrow and a little muscle .Took it all the way round the house and through the house .Work smarter not harder .Now have to put table and seat and back and arm rests on .View from carport when doing roofing shingles and the grit from the old roof in the gutters
