Why is this pond forum successful?

I like this forum because it's not "if you don't do it our way, you're doing it wrong".

The banter adds to the appeal if you can't have fun while learning then it becomes a chore rather than interesting plus we try not to talk over peoples heads .Keep it simple as you want or make it hard and loose interest .Unless enjoy the challenge .I like simple and cheap but love some of the ideas I get on here .It is like a sounding board will this work or will that work and if some one has tried it or not .We all change so many things in our pond and it just adds to the interest .We never know until we learn
