The problem with this statement is that 'The Donald's' economic plan will actually add more to the National debt than Clinton's
http://crfb.org/papers/promises-and...016-election?gclid=CKz2nNiY_M0CFQ-raQodca0JTQ

That projection doesn't include re-negotiating trade deals and hasn't been updated since June.
The Fed's plan to increase inflation isn't working as they planned. Countries/populations that are mainly consumers are diminishing and the former cheap producer (China) is now demanding higher wages.
I just don't see things ending well as soon as the US, China, the ECB and Japan run out of their imaginative stimulus "ideas".
The question is, who is going to fall the hardest? There will be some good deals to be had by the country that has some cash available to take advantage.
I want that country to be the USA, not China or Russia.

Elect Clinton and nothing will change.
Elect Trump and at least there might be a chance.
Will Clinton send Kerry to negotiate? No, she'll let her Wall street bosses go and make the deals best for their shareholders, which are not the typical middle and lower class Americans.
There's a reason that Apple, Google and Facebook have subsidiaries in Ireland. - and it's not because they like Guinness.

I disagree with most of that assessment due to influencing factors being left out.
As long as oil prices are low the inflation index will be low. Take oil out of the picture and inflation exists. Most other goods are increasing in price here in the U.S.
As to a global economic catastrophe, I don't see that happening.
As regards negotiating, Trump will most certainly negotiate for what is best for big business. That is what he knows best. That is his mind-set. Has been all of his life. Can't realistically expect that to change.
He has no conception of what it is to be middle class or lower.

Also what that chart does not tell is that about 47% of the U.S. debt is publicly held in bonds, T-bills, mutual funds, etc

Yes, we're looking at this from 2 different viewpoints. I think that the future holds a nasty shock for world economies if some drastic steps are not taken.

I see oil prices remaining low for a long time to come. China has been buying a lot of oil and storing it underground, so any future demand estimates from them should be reduced accordingly.
I would like to see some tariffs placed on imported oil and have North America energy self sufficient with higher oil prices.

Well, our good friends the Saudis are able to sell oil at close to a loss as their reserves would allow them to do so for nigh on eternity.

So, they pump a surplus thus shutting down the North American production of shale gas and tar sands oil in North America, ensuring that energy independence will never come to pass.

Toss a couple hundred billion dollars to the Iranians so they won't build a bomb, keep the slave classes in Saudi Arabia well under heel, and keep the North American Birkenstock wearing, whale banging, tree hugging environmentalist happy because they're not burning "dirty" oil in the SUVs.

Mind you, if you're able to toss out $75K for a Tesla S in Canada, you're eligible for a $10K rebate from the government, while at the same time you're paying Road Tax, Excise Tax and HST for a liter of gasoline that should be around $0.63/liter instead of the $1-3/liter.

Then again, with the layoffs in the Alberta oil patch, the blue-eyed Arabs have a higher unemployment rate than the national average, while at the same time paying less tax to the Federal government. The Federal government in turn pays the province for its increasing unemployment demand, while all the Newfies have moved back to the Rock to buy up the cheap real estate with the fistfuls of dollars that they made working the oil patch out West.

Of course, you don't want any pipelines built to take the product from the ground to the refineries, they're bad for the environment. Transporting it by train is so much safer (tic).

And some wonder why the Beefeaters is my friend...............

Can anyone imagine what the world would be like today if the "North American Birkenstock wearing, whale banging, tree hugging environmentalist" were influential in the 19th century? Or for that matter in the mid 20th century? No railroads, no hydro electric dams, no telegraph polls (I sure some kind of beetle probably lives in the trees they cut down), no transcontinental road system, no drilling for oil anywhere, no cutting down the forests, no fishing, no mining, no steel mills no horses allowed on the city streets. And above all no fireplaces or wood stoves. But on the bright side there would be plenty of work for the environmental impact study firms.

Back in June, I first saw Mr. Trump announcing his candidacy for president. What he said about unauthorized immigrants seemed ridiculous so I laughed. I showed the video to friends, and I laughed again. His words were poorly chose
Luckily the president is OK after last nights ruckus.
The media lies have never been worse than now. At my work they listen to the mexican radio all day, LOUD too. While I don't understand a lot of it I do hear anti Trump commercials ALL day long, propaganda at it's finest. What are those people supposed to think when they're force fed miss-information (lies) all day everyday? They honestly believe they will be deported if Trump is elected and it's easy to understand why.

Lots of crap going around and no one really hears much of the truth unless they hunt for it on their own. I'm sick of the media and the bias they portray. Soon this will be over (or will it?) and we will either have Trump for prez or Hillary who I will refuse to call my president.
I like your positiveness in calling Trump our president and yep glad he is ok.

You will appreciate this living in Reno. The Bookies are favoring Hillary by from 3/1 to 4/1 odds.

I will be so glad when this election is over.
The process has been disgusting, in my opinion.

I can only hope that the next group of people in charge will change the process.

.

Really!! If we showed 1% of the lack of civility, manners, respect for others, etc. that has been shown in this Presidential campaign, we would be thrown off of this Forum forthwith.
