Free for shipping.

I decreased the amount of yellow flag iris and sweet flag I have in the bog. Sweet flag has the sweetest smell they used to make brooms out of the leaves.

At this time have around 10 clumps of tubers of each, the iris are around 4 inches tall. Sweet flag just beginning to grow. Probably could ship in a small box, around 5 bucks or so.

i will take some pictures when it gets light outside.

This is how they looked last summer, 2-3 foot tall.

We had a nice 45 f day. The bog nicely melted, (full sun) at least on the surface. These plants are a pita to get out full grown, So I decided to purge a few while still small. I had a lot of debris to remove, dead plants, leaves etc. Didn't get it cleaned for the winter. I was just going to compost then decided to offer them up. Today it will be 63! for a few days high 50 then back into the 40's. Bouncing winter.

And had on waterproof boots, waterproof gloves, water is darn cold.

I do, have not shipped any yet. Send me a pm with address , a medium box would be the best bet, around 11 bucks stuffed full.

Yellow flag all gone, those getting it enjoy, nice healthy plants. Some sweet flag left

There is some moss, bits of creeping jenny mixed in with the sweet flag.

@addy1 My plants arrived today :)

I'm not sure how to store them until it's safe to plant them. Inside in a bucket with water? Outside in a bucket? Its still fairly cold here. We have a little snow on the ground still. In a bucket in the shed?

Whatcha think?

Okay, I ended up putting them in an empty half barrel and putting a bit of peat moss over top of them for now.

Hopefully they will be fine until I can get them planted. They look great, very healthy.

Thanks so much addy

Sorry just logged in, just keep the roots moist, wet newspaper works great. Or shallow water, covering the tubers, roots, it can be cold, they just melted last week. Got snowed on today doing fine.

Garage would be fine, you probably don't want the water to freeze solid. They are pretty tough plants.
