Above ground pool to pond conversion

if your still planning on using the skimmer, you could just place fishing line (tightened) across the top of the pool to create a partition that would keep your floating plants where they need to be. Or take some poly tubing from home depot and use a union to join the two ends of a section and then you have a floating plant ring. This would work for keeping them together as well. Just an idea.

I built a floating 1/2 ring around my skimmer, kept the plants out, the small fish swam in and out of it, the larger fish stayed out.
