Hey crsublette, I was just reading that thread on NSP and I thought that anoxic filters would be perfect for NSPs! I would certainly prefer anoxic filters over planted regeneration areas (due to bog problems). Dave54, can you post that on the anoxic blog too? Only problem would be the time it would take the anoxic system to mature.

Yep, that thought crossed my mind as well. I think there could be many interesting applications of an Anoxic system due to it not having the bog's upflow particulate filtration, which is root cause of problems with bogs after a period of time.

For anyone curious as to "what heck is NSP? ", I believe John is referring to Natural Swimming Ponds, or as I call them Natural Swimming Pools, talked about in thread titled, natural swimming pond - flow.
