Does anyone have a good source for aquatic plants? I thought I might try growing some from seed. Being new to this, I wasn't sure what/how I need to begin.

Thanks once again!

Lot's of peeps use Ebay. Look for top sellers or ones w/ good ratings. Maybe some will chime in and tell which sellers they like on Ebay.

Umbrella plant and nut sedge are easy. I'd guess any sedge is easy. Although my nut sedge don't always go to seed.

Canna, but most don't reproduce true, so for those the results are normally not great. Years (decades) ago few people considered Canna from seed, but now with the Canna virus there's definitely a lot more interest since the virus isn't transmitted though seed. Plus, seeds might provide a virus resistant plant.

Water Hawthorne is supposed to be real easy! I have the plant but not tried to collect seeds from it as I just got it last year.

I have "won" some plants on Ebay. White Lizards Tail, Water Iris and some Dwarf Papyrus. I think I need to add more pea gravel to my bog area. Haven't told my hubby this, but I'm planning on putting the plants in the tub till I can put outside. I am getting ready to place an order from Texas Water Lillies now. Oh what fun!
