that is huge! My fish ate the last water lettuce I put in- like the little beasts don't get enough to eat. Now my whole pond is covered with frog-bit instead, so I gave up on water lettuce for now..

I would be ashamed right now to post photo's of my poor Water Lettuce. They look like they have jaundice. Think I am done w/ them forever. Not warm enough here for them. Waste of moola!

I wonder if this was photoshoped???? That arm in there doesn't quite look right and you don't see a massive amount of roots that this one would require to sustain is beauty, you should see some inclination of roots between the leaves and you just don't see them. I am not sold.

Real deal, or edited? I would have to say edited. I can't believe that one that big looks that nice, and the babies are that size. Growing in that shallow of water strem, Might still be a 12" across plant but not a four foot plant. But cool shot none the less.

Good eye JW. Also if you look at the arm and this person was holding it up with his palm facing up you would see the underside of his forearm or if this person was holding the bottom like a beer bottom you would see the side of the forearm and to me it looks like the pic is showing the top of the forearm..

When I was looking to buy some plants beginning of summer they listed a african water lettuce that was supposed to get big but not that big, just 8 inches.
