I redid my old bog garden the liner was leaking I have installed this new liner but the water from the pond is going up underneath the liner I guess the dirt under the liner is soaked. The regular pond liner reaches up about 12 in underneath the new liner. What am I doing wrong?

Where your bog liner overlaps the pond liner: What is the vertical distance (elevation change) between your pond water level and the bog spillway. That's really the dimension that matters. If it's less than about 6" you're likely to get wicking between the liners, which sounds exactly like what you're describing.

You're right I bet that's what it is there's not much of a elevation right where the pond liner stops. Should I take the liner back out and make the elevation where it joins the pond taller and build dirt under the edge of the regular pond liner?
