Beautiful setting! A day of rest will do you good
Id caution on any mint I had a hitch hiker . And I'm still battling it in the small bogI wonder if we should have wrapped our manifold pipes in landscaping fabric or something similar? Would that stop the roots?
Maybe not.
I don't know....maybe the fabric would clog easier? Definitely will clog , and they do next to nothing for stopping roots from growing RIGHT through THE fabric
It's still quite amazing those roots traveled all the way down there being you have 2.5 feet of gravel.
Mm. Hmmm. At least some of us in the tropical zones do a lot of pulling throughout the year! I keep them in a pot in the bog and when the roots start coming out over the pot top, I haul the whole mess out and start trimming. Anyone who wants some in the spring, let me know (just pay the shipping).Yep, those umbrella plants do have some massive roots.
We are lucky they are tropical and won't survive our winters.
When I pull them out in the fall, it's amazing how large the root system can get.
