I've been wondering where my Sakura shrimps've been hiding in.... turn out my CRAYFISH've been eating them...

I thought Crayfish are slow!!

Darn... another $30 down the drain (the shrimps) - expensive snacks for my crayfish.

This crayfish was about the same size as the shrimp when it arrived... see how much it grow in 2 weeks!!

Crayfish eat snails too, they love snails and any thing they can get their claws on!

That stinks.....You may want to set up a tank just for them. I had a similar thing happen to my cherry shrimps when I put them in a tank with a betta. I'm sure you know what happened : (

I don't know anything about crayfish but I wonder if they can live together as they mature?

I have lots of snail for him to eat.. he just wants some fancy dish

I don't have room for other tank so I just wont get anymore shrimp

I put a betta girl in my nature pond and she's been eating the mosquito be-bes. She hasn't bother my one tadpole though... cross fingers!!


I think they can live together. In my other thread, Charles posted a video of a guy who has lots of them in one place.

I would love to have a shrimp only tank. I have the extra tanks but no where to set them up

I keep a betta in my guppy tank for population control. Otherwise I would be over run with them.

Oh okay, I must have missed the video. I will check it out
