Had our section's Christmas Party last Wednesday evening.
We had pink pig racing as our main entertainment weve never laughed so much it was so comical,
The compare was hilarious the piggy's were those cute mechanical pigs that children can buy .
You could buy a pig for £2.00 UK race it whilst you could have a flutter the same time, as could everyone else we won £10.00 UK.
We won one race as an Owner giving us a win of £10.00 UK, if you were betting you could win £45.00 UK but any profit's going to The National Institute of The blind a UK charity ( My Uncle Willy was born blind ), so it was going to a great cause and is one of our pet charities along with The Muscular Dystrophy and Cancer charities.
In the Raffle we won a koi picture which shows Japanese Writing in the back ground then two koi a little like the yin and yang on bing a showa the other a kuhaku with black shadows underneath all done Printed on a purple back ground and looks pretty cool on our door ( weve run out of wall space ) lol .
We also won a box of matchmaker chocolates in the same raffle were also given a total of 8 christmas cards on the night wth more to come later via the post
To eat we had hot Pork Rolls with the best scratchings I've ever tasted ( we have the recipe how to now make perfect scratchings)Yah ........
All in all a very good night was had by all we sat with Val's cousin and her Husband Glenn and were given a lift home by them at the end of the evening,

Sounds like fun, But what is a scratching? And if there that good, how about sharing the recipe, I really like trying things from other places and that just sounds interesting.
