My skimmer box and parts are 19 years old. I can't find any replacement parts resembling the leaf basket or shape of the box (for a new lid). Does anyone recognize who might have manufactured this? Someone once told me the company is probably no longer in business and there aren't parts. Thanks for any help you have. Hindsight - just had my pond re-done, should have gone the whole way and got a new skimmer before they set it in rocks/cement. Wish they had mentioned it or I thought of it.....

Oh my gosh - you are so right. Setting a new skimmer would have been so easy. ugh.

I know nothing about skimmers, but this does appear to be an unusual design with the filter pad in the leaf basket - or was that a DIY add on? I would think that might cause issues with clogging, but like I said - no real skimmer knowledge here!

Just abandon it. And cut / dig a new skimmer. If you have extra liner folded up it should be easy if not you might need to seem some extra fabric on.
It could get tricky but still easier than trying to remove the old one locked in concrete
