Frogs...do I want them?

Well I’ll be a monkey’s uncle... I found an egg mass under my skimmer, no idea how a critter laid them without getting sucked in. Clear jelly about the size of a large jelly bean. Moved it to a safer spot.
My wife’s friend is a herpetologist with the US Fish and Wildlife Service, she thinks it might be pseudacris regilla or the Northern Pacific Tree Frog. So hopefully like the cute little green fella below.

I was going to say maybe it was a tree frog and was stuck to the wall of the skimmer and dropped the eggs in

10 " to 12" meaning with a large fan tail i would imagine

It was an Orenji Ogon! It had long fins but not extremely long like some of my other butterfly.
This pic of it (small orange fish) was taken when I bought it, about a year and a half earlier, when it was 6-7" long with a nice round body (maybe female), she was almost doubled in size when she was taken, and I wouldn't have believed it either if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes
