Hi. If you do that you will need to stop adding salt. Generally pond plants don’t like salt. Also I agree with above comments the Koi needs O2 and that is why it’s in the waterfall. I would recommend to find another way to get water movement either with an air pump or another water pump. Most experienced ponders have a lot of water movement going on in their ponds.

End result and your avatar photo shows it was well the filter is either to small the fish to big or too many or your not balance biological. That haze around your fish in the pic would say more bio and filtration but seeing as it's a small pond to boot the cards are stacked against you
