violence is violence and no matter what cops should do something .I know judges and cops did not listen to my sister and her husband ended up killing her.Nicolas Kontakis died in prison but we lost a loved one for life .And her daughter lost her mom and she was only 5 at the time .I miss Margie every day and think of her often .No threat should be taken lightly
I'm so sorry to hear that. Our police don't do anything about threats until it actually happens.

My sister worked for a lawyer and her godfather was the chief of police there .He actually showed up and did not have the chance to stop it from happening .It has been awhile now but the loss is something you learn to live with .I never understood with all the new domestic violence laws that police do not do anything .It happened March 25, 1985 at a post office in NJ .1986 I lost both of my parents to violence so it was a bad time all around .

If you maintain a vehicle you have less problems .I worked for ford and no matter what there are a lemon or 2 in any brand of any thing .Both mine are 2001 's and they get regular oil changes and once in awhile new brakes and tires .Also a recharge for air conditioning and one thing people always forget is the air filters and checking tire pressure. If you maintain you are always better for it .Just like houses and appliances they need love and repairs .You wait you pay .

...but your name is Tahoe....o_O;)

Yep, my vehicle is a Tahoe, We bought my son the Bronco as his first vehicle. I went against my better judgment. I don't know how Ford owners can afford to keep them on the road, I keep having to dump money in this piece of junk. It's even worse than the Chrysler product my wife drives ( "Junk" Liberty) .
Glad I can do my own repairs or I would be bankrupt on just the hours of labor I've put in this thing in the last year.
Should've bought a Chevy like I wanted him to do, now he regrets the purchase too.
Won't happen again.

All this ranting about prices going up. .. prices never went up at all..... our money lost value and now it takes more dollars to buy the same thing. This is because money does not really exist any more. Money only exists cause you think it does. Money has not existed since they did away with the "gold standard "
If you have silver dollars from the sixties, then one real silver dollar would now buy three gallons of paint!!!!

I just read that the dollar is the only illusion that is believed internationally. It's true, how much is a piece of paper worth?

I think it depends on when your Ford was made. My experience with Ford wasn't good. My first 'new' car, bought of the lot with .02 miles on it, a beautiful '89 Escort GT. The interior was fantastic, it had all the good options and a high output motor. That car never passed a smog check without some type of finessing or raise the front wheels off the ground and do the test with the wheels spinning, a lot of shops wouldn't do it for me. Then the paint 'checked' uuggg, the car was deteriorating right in front of me. I always took care of the dash, till it cracked is several spots. The good thing was I got 110000 miles on the original clutch, and got 30+ mpg all the time. I really like the looks of the Ford products but couldn't tell you if they're any good or not.

Ford put food on the table on a roof over her head as her dad retired after 46 yrs so I married into them. Her 92 Topaz was okay until it got rearended, then we had a 96 Ranger and a 98 ZX2. Both were okay, but we only kept them maybe a year and a half so they were still new when we traded them off. They still had screwed up engineering, who puts the oil filter directly over the starter so oil soaks it every time oil change? Different engines each one and both were designed the same, stupid. No more since until the Bronco and it's been one headache after another.
Her dad actually tells us now to buy whatever you want, they are all junk nowadays haha

Yes, people need to go to your pawn shops or other small shops and start buying "junk" silver. We will need it to buy stuff in the future when the "money" system collapses.

Silver is a great buy. Smart money buying all silver these days. So why is silver such a good buy? Cause for hundreds of years, since the time of the Bible, "three pieces of silver were equal to one piece of gold"! That is no longer the case, but should there be a "run on the money " I believe that "three pieces of silver" will again be equal to one piece of gold.... people always relate "silver to gold".

Comox Silver was just about all sold out recently

I am mad I went over to look at the property and also printed out all the pics and what was included in the sale .Well after 4 wrong numbers and on the phone with her she finally got the lock box number right .Well it registers what time you entered and 3 minutes after we walked in saw all the appliances were gone and took pics on my sons tablet and sent them to her right away and she called me and practically accused us of stealing them .3 minutes sorry not going to happen .A fridge 2 door a range and micro hood a dish washer and washer and dryer oh yeh I work real fast .After some pissed off attitude from me she calmed down and I asked her the last time she was there and she said 5 or 6 months ago .Who does not check there houses out for that long and it was probably longer than that looking at the layer of dust where the appliances sat ..So that is her fault .I am going to call the bank and tell them about this .I also check GIS sight and found it was only rented out for 6 months and was a leftover lot model like I suspected .It is in like new shape except appliances .I can get a package deal from home depot for 899 from a friend with a 150 dollar rebate also .No washer and dryer though .My son likes black appliances .But I can use the listing to lower the price .

I really miss garden tomatoes. My whole family grew heirlooms this year, I picked my last ones in sept. The store bought tomatoes have no taste. I hardly eat them anymore.
