Here's a little bit better pics without the screens. I have to build some sort of cover for the pump. I am thinking something like a deck box/seat with a trellis/awning over the top. Then something smaller to match it hiding the filter box, but we will see what my limited carpenter skills manage. Any suggestions or pictures of what others have done here would be great. To cover the plumbing and filter, I am thinking something 6x2x2. Yikes! I tried to find a deck box that would cover it, and I would just cut out the bottom, but they don't make one large enough. :(

Also, I for some reason started doubting my pond size dimensions, so I remeasured everything. Pond is actually 19 foot long. 6 foot at the narrow part in the middle. To the left it widens to 7 foot and to the right(based on first picture) it widens to 9 foot and it is only 3 feet deep.
So, I figure it this way, tell me if I am wrong.

Left side 6.5x10x3=195 right side 7.5x9x3=202.5 then add 202.5 and 195=397.5x7.5=2981.25 gallons.

Is there a better way to figure this out? Shouldn't I add smaller pond and stream to figure actual gallons for dosage of.......whatever?

If so, small pond is 7x6x2x7.5=630g and stream is 30x2x0.25x7.5=112.5

3723.75g total Is that even close to right?

What about plants in your filter like I do .I put grasses in my filters .You could also get a stock tank and turn it up side down if you really want to cover it .

That looks great sissy, but doesn't that make it tough to clean? You have to remove all the plants to clean.
