Ive been feeding the Tetra floaters to my fish for years, there is a small variety within the product. They have a 'color' formula that has different colored sticks than the regular product and claims to have boosted vitamins. Once I mistakenly asked the wife to purchase pond food for me..... She ignored our request for Tetra and brought home 'Wardley pond sticks'. The fish refused them, they seem very hard compared to Tetras. Now, the still full container of wardley has expired as another bag of Tetra gets used, the fish go nuts for it.

I don't feed floating food to my goldfish, whether in a pond or an indoor tank. Floating food can cause swim bladder issues, more often with fancies, but comets can get it too.

I feed gel food - in specific Repashy Soilent Green.
