Good looking setup, can i ask why you have your cuts in the pvc facing upward?

I have tried both ways and clean outs are easier with them up. and Nelsons water gardens does it the same way.

That's a good reason . One suggestion i'd place a minimum of 3/4 in Stone on the bottom to cover your pipes so you don't clog or get fines into the pipe. once the pipe is burred then switch back to the pea stone . I used only 3/4 myself but i have an abundance of filter area. All in all looks like it's going to be a successful project ,

Gosh that's a great detailed bog plan they laid out!

We used an Aquascape centipede for our bog and the slits are top and sides.

i put my culvert with the slits at 10 and 2 double walled 24'' culvert pipe . but i used Mellon sized rocks until i had the area around the culvert flush with the top . i then switched over to 2 to 4" rock to level it out placed the aqua blocks on that again with 2-4" average on the sides of the aqua blocks then 1-2 inch to cover the aqua blocks and then 3a foot plus of /4 inch gravel i never reduced all the way to 3/8" that's a bit to fine for long term in my eye.

Mine are pointing down, never have cleaned out the pipes, can't really dear hubby talked me out of putting in a clean out.
Have not needed it in over 9 years, the bog is still working great.
