So very proud to share a look at several of my pond site stones with true natural moss or algae. Whichever it is the stones now has such natural beauty.

Hi Lou, I have moss growing around the pond this year also--but I transplanted it from our timber--looks nice on the rocks like that--I may do that too. I was gonna tell you that if you dont want to wait for it to spread naturally, that I found a cool way on the internet to spread it to rocks, sidewalks, statues etc. They said to take a couple handfulls of moss and put it into an old blender with either flat beer or buttermilk and grind it up then spread on rocks etc and water it and it will take off and spread.
