A 2" pvc pipe is 2 3/8" so you would need a 2" male adapter, a 2" cap and a 2" female adapter . The female would go inside the tank and then some silicone around it then screw it into the male adapter put some silicone around the hole then put the the cap on. Or just get a 2" bulk head fitting but you will still need to plug the end.
How do I cap off jets??

I had one and it did not fit this hole .It small and the gasket would not cover the hole .I would have to measure the hole again .I think I have just about bought all kinds of fittings and even tried to wrap rubber around the adapter plug to make it fit tight enough
