:moped: hi all after 5 o clock in ireland,liner and diy pond skimmer installed,rocks and gravel installed,the rocks are called tipperary sandstone,the quarry is a about 2 miles from my house,so getting them is easy :razz: littlepond :razz: ps sorry about the extra posts

we just figure your mom in law got to you LOL do you rest .She still eyeing you up or has she lost interest.It's looking good she should be gratefull you are doing this for her and that it looks this good .GREAT JOB

better watch out lottlepond when you put the water in if mom in law is not happy with it you may be swimming .How she could not be happy with it I have no clue ,will be looking forward to seeing it

You need to cut an area to the size of the door you would like. You could take that cut area, I see a lip on your skimmer tub, add something like foam etc to make it float. Put some pins at the bottom, a small tube glued on with a small rod in the tube with an end sticking out each end. Put those ends into a, hole or something of that sort so it will float up and down, with the water movement.

I hope that makes some sense.

Look at a store bought skimmer that might help.
