Thank you all for coming out and supporting the show. It was great to see members and friends come out. I think the show was quite a success. Over 45 entries for the first show. This is the Purdin Kohaku owned by Robert Wu that took grand champion. Robert also too Reserved Grand Champion and mature grand Champion with a huge Shiro Utsuri from Omosaka.

I took size 4 best in show with Kojak out OPF Kujaku, and size 5 best in show with a Sanke from Purdin Koi Farm. I also entered Lucky our Long fin Chagoi which took 3rd overall in Longfin, and our Beni Kumonryu took second in class 4.

Dave, We've met Larkin and Magoo before and saw them both at the show. I was hoping to meet a couple of other members there, but no luck. Larkin, congratulations on your wins.

thanks for sharing the results and the photos. Congratulations on your koi :)
Sorry we couldnt come out - the 5 hour trip each way was going to too much for my wife right now (7 months pregnant)
But we would have loved to come and seen the show - hoping there is a show closer soon.

Oh, I so wish we could have been there (ended up that Hubby was on call that w/end!)! The entries/winners look great! And I see where the Batman & Superman also made an appearance, tee, hee!

NEXT year I'll not only attend, but I'll plan to show a goldfish or 2! I'd like to visit the various vendors, as well.

So happy that it went well -- my goal was to go out to support your efforts, but my thoughts were with you!

For your next show buy some tupperware boxs cut out a hole in the bottom big enough to take one of the large roumd airstone and silicone pebbles to the lid which is now the base.
Place in the middle of the vat then drop the airstone in .
The tupperware box will now act as a type of rudimentary filter and any fish Poop will be dragged into it ,
At the end of the show open it up wash and disinfect it and its ready to go for the next show .
