Yes Addy I did. Got the electrical all rewired so now have a seperate box for each pond. Still have a bad leak in the stocktank filter but have a backup working. Hubby has surgery Tuesday so won't be getting much done. Will try to post some new pics today.

Hope he is doing well. Take care of him, more important than a pond right now.
Your stocktank leak can wait.......
I have been fighting a bog pipe boot leak, darn thing.

Glad you got your electrical going, good job.

View attachment 3841Well here are the latest pics- The tenants of koi condo II are loving the deep water but are still shy after being netted. The smaller fish in pond 1 are much bolder and I have been transfering the 2 batches of fry to the old pond. I set up window boxes filled with water and plants to hide the stock tank (it leaks!) but the koi think it is a salad bar! The electric is finally done properly with each pond on its own wiring. Had an ammonia spike but have it back down to 0. Water is clean enough I can see the red labeling on the liner 4 1/2' down! Time to take a break- hubbys surgery is tomorrow.

Well, hubbies surgery went well so I'm back to getting a few things done. Hadn't planned on putting up the netting yet but the fish in both ponds have gotten spooked and won't come near the surface. I know we have deer there but wasn't sure if that was the problem. This morning hubby spotted a red tailed hawk on the ground in between the two ponds!
I don't think it is after the fish but we do have a lot of frogs that I suspect would make a tasty snack for a hawk so the net is up!

Glad to hear all went well.

The red tails like little ground critters, not fish. Now eagles, they love fish.

Well I had to go swimming in the new pond today. Two of my planter boxes ended up in the pond, I suspect a predetor bird landed on them and knocked them in. Also had to remove the stock tank filter as it was leaking again! Hopefully over the winter I can figure out what the problem is and get it fixed. 72 degree water is COLD at this time of year! Found a 2 1/2" koi fry in the new pond- They are growing at an amazing rate in that pond.

Burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i would have my honey do that! Below 90 I don't like being in the water, even wear a wet suit when diving in the summer.

Hows your honey doing? Hope well

Well, still have a lot to do but at least the ponds are both netted in. I used 4" drain pipe to make the posts on the new pond. Here is a short video of the big guys enjoying a snack of Cheerios. Sorry for the poor quality- first video.[ame]
