The moon was so bright outside our bedroom window last night it was like it was daytime. Love the way the universe is constantly putting on a show!

It was huge and beautiful, saw it briefly this morning then the clouds covered it up.

It was clear and cloudless last night, big and peeking between the clouds this am.

It was clear and cloudless last night, big and peeking between the clouds this am. It is causing high tides and some flooding.

It was very bright but I didn't think it was all that large. I have seen harvest moons that looked huge this one was just so so. Unless told I wouldn't have really noticed it. I want my money back!

We had a few clear nights early this week, so I got a good view of this "supermoon." Didn't look all that different to me, to be honest--maybe just a bit brighter than usual on Tuesday night--but having clear skies helped photographers capture some really neat full moon photos this month.
