Hi all,
Recently moved into a new house with 2 ponds out back, a small in ground and a larger above ground 1. The small one has 2 koi and a couple goldfish and I’m looking to transfer them into the big one (small child - safety risk) however theres no hardware on the big one (although does have electric to it).
The big one has a bottom drain with a gate waste valve (picture attached). I have quite a limited budget so was hoping to stick an all in one pump for the time being just so i can get the fish moved and fill the other pond in however when I filled the pond, it drained to about half way through the waste valve (even though it was closed). Should this happen? Or have I a faulty waste valve? If this should happen, whats my best cost effective (not permanent, just so I can have my lad out in the garden in summer without worry) solution to get this pond going!
Pond dimensions 190x150x120cm
TIA
Joe
