do your floating plants survive the winter there ? or do you have to replace them every year .. you have your very own paradise :0)

How neat, I had 17 ducklings one year, they laid them near my stream in arizona. It is so much fun to watch them.

My plants freeze back but don't sink and die.
But my pond at my cabin is still under 3 feet of snow, 12 feet at the high. Don't know if I'll get time to stock it with fish this year.

That is some big pond you got there and it is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy as I see someone doing in your pics. I vote to see duckling pix also

Wow riverbottom you must have been socked with snow! we got a whole 12 inches this year, compared to 60 inches last winter.

That's some serious digging. Impressive! I don't think I'll be going that big, but kudos to you for having the dedication for such a massive project.

I had a tractor and box scraper I used, just kept driving around in circles. Needed the dirt for my shed I built and for my parents house I built acros the driveway.
