Wow, how neat to have a "carver" in our midst! Dr. Case be sure to post some pics of the ducks you have carved. I'd love to see them. Your pelican, Todd, is really nice! I love hand made things like that, and will pay premium for them when I know they are locally made, or from someone that I know.
Why in the world do they call that an "Obedient" plant? LOL It looks very disobedient to me, but I still want some. Thanks for sending some on, Todd.

Wow!! Those pictures are really super nice, and I just love that wood pelican!! Those pictures just can't be this year? How is it everything is so green already?? Did you even get a winter? :)
We did have a winter. Everything just started to green up the last two weeks or so. It's amazing how fast the trees and shrubs get their leaves once they start.

It is not obedient at all, but easy to control, spreads by runners, just yank it out. I use those claw type hand garden tools, works great.

I have been busy the last several weeks and decided to build a small fountain that feeds my creek. I took an old strawberry pot that i had laying in the bottom of the pond, ran the line that feeds the creek up through the middle of it, filled it with lava rock. Haven't decided if I am sold on it or not, but the wife likes it.

Before and after pics of my hill that I redid. I killed off the grass, put in a walkway with rocks that now takes you from one side of the main creek to the other. Had to haul 30 large rocks to the yard on Sunday to complete. Threw down 30 bags of mulch and planted some perennials to get it started.

This is the rock walkway that goes up one side of the pond, around the bog and down the other side.

And here is my dog hunting up a mouse, mole or chipmunk that has taken up residence in the bog wall.

Todd, I like that fountain idea, very nice, Nice way to start the stream with just having a hose come out from under a rock and add another water feature in the garden at the same time. The walk way came out really nice. Guess it's about time for me to do a up date to my showcase thread. LOL

I like that trickle tower as they call it and was going to do one in my pond but never got around to it yet. Like your path also and looks like you have your very own Arboretum park there.
