Now the 4 does lay in my backyard all night. Lol. They seem to like the carrots and sunflower hearts in the squirrel feeder better than the deer pellets. I went out 2 nights ago to put a handful of carrots in the feeder, they were laying down and disnt even get up when I went outside. One walked through my pond screen the other nigh, so it’s ruined again. Lol. I saw her do it.

Toad time is in full swing here. The pond looks like a mucky swamp, between the hundreds of toads stirring up sediment, as well as adding copious amounts of... ummm..... 'organic material' to the mix. It's been two full days. I hope they're winding down at this point so I can cross 'dump toads out of the skimmer basket' off the to-do list! It does make for some fabulous photo ops, though!

Great pictures @BKHpondcritters The toad invasion has not started here yet. I end up with a ton and a ton of eggs.
Thanks. The one nice thing about how many we get is that the tadpoles are GREAT at eating up algae & other debris in the pond. I refer to them as the 'clean up crew'. Plus you can get a tadpole pedicure! :ROFLMAO: Pic from last year:

Yesterday, we finished the siding, huge mess by the feeders, no one could eat all day. A young squirrel came by for peanuts at 8 pm last night While I was trying to clean up. The deer this morning went and checked out the mess I didn’t get to yet. Lol
one squirrel was in the patio when all the deer walked up. He wasn’t sure. Lol

We put out deer blocks in the back field, the birds, opossum , squirrels and deer all love them.

They bed down in the field, we can have from 1 to 14 at a time.
