Need to add to liner

As you can see i need to add about 12x12 to the liner. What is the proper order to achieve this.

GBBUDD has a good thread on seaming EPDM liner, if it is not epdm then I am not sure how you would go about it.

Um why not just replace it . But regardless it's very easy to seam. In the forum pond equipment and construction there is at the top a full detail on how to seam

That's a lot of trouble to go to for an extra foot of liner - are you adding to your pond?

This is a repair that went wrong.That cutout was for a tree so now i want to do it correctly
I lowered the pond for the repair .
