I've checked it again today and my ammonia is down to 0 now and with this rain from Harvey all week looks like heat won't be a problem. So I won't need the beach umbrella for a while.

I would continue to check the water, though. The ammonia will build up and will need to be removed or neutralized until the pond cycles.I've checked it again today and my ammonia is down to 0 now and with this rain from Harvey all week looks like heat won't be a problem. Find zeolite it is a natural ammonia remover they use it in horse stall also .
